2023. Jon prepared a Design Report for greatly expanding orangutan facilities for the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOS) at their Samboja Lestri property in East Kalimantan Indonesia.
2025. Jon co-authored this paper in the Journal of Zoo Biology by James Edward Brereton with Dr. Eduardo J Fernandez which shows how oval or circular aviaries can encourage longer flights improving avian welfare and physical conditioning.
