Papers Widely Read!

2022 Jon’s zoo design and animal management papers are being widely read. On 16 December ResearchGate, a European networking site for scientists and researchers to share papers, recorded 30,000 “reads” of Jon’s papers, including 9,716 “reads” of Design and Perception, Jon’s 1985 paper establishing the human behavioural foundations of realistic “landscape immersion” zoo exhibit design. ResearchGate scores this paper in the 98^th percentile of authors on their platform based upon total “reads”, citations, and recommendations.
